Minnesota Fall Fun at an Apple Orchard

Minnesota Fall Fun at an Apple Orchard

A Taste of Fall

Visiting A Minnesota Apple Orchard

There is nothing better than visiting an apple orchard in the fall; and while Minnesota has many, I’d like to share with you two of my favorites!

Pine Tree Apple Orchard in White Bear Lake Minnesota

If you’ve lived in Minnesota for long, then you know that the fall season is well celebrated in the northern region.

Fabulous fall foliage aids to the already festive nature of this season and with the ever looming threat of snow people take full advantage of their last chances to get outside! And what better way than at an apple orchard?

There are many beautiful orchards scattered throughout Minnesota and surrounding areas and each has it’s own unique draw. One of my family’s favorite is Pine Tree Apple Orchard in White Bear Lake. I’m going to be really honest now…we like it because of the caramel apples.

For real. If you haven’t tried one of the Jacobson’s caramel apples you are missing out my friend. It’s like a tiny slice of heaven slathered in ooey-gooey goodness.

Ugh. Now my mouth is watering. Thanks a lot.

But anyhow if you’re looking for something fun to do to celebrate the fall season, I would highly suggest researching local apple orchards to see if there is one near you.

If not, plan a trip to Pine Tree Apple Orchard to experience one of their many wonderful apple treats!

They also have a fun apple conveyor belt that my kids loved to watch, hay rides, and varying events on weekends.

Pleasant Valley Apple Orchard in Lindstrom Minnesota

The other apple orchard that we frequent in the fall is Pleasant Valley Orchard in Lindstrom.

They also have delicious treats and quite a bit to do! We love spending the afternoon touring the grounds and testing the apples that are currently in season.

We also love their free corn pit and visiting with the chicken and goats.

They have a wonderful little hiking trail that winds through the woods new the orchard. Its short enough that the kids can walk it on their own, but long enough that it tires them out *wink-wink*.

Although Washington is known for it’s apples, I’d say Minnesota could probably give them a run for their money. Nothing beats good old Minnesota ‘nice’ hospitality!

Just to drive that point home I feel I should throw in a traditional “ya, sure, you betcha!” There, that ought to do it.

So if you’re looking for something fun to do, come tour a Minnesota apple orchard, we’re worth the trip!

Enjoying Fall,

Stephanie
